Our client, a cutting edge software development company is looking for a software engineer with a focus on web development who will help to define and build their next open-source product centered around Big Data, Security and OpenSearch. Call Cormac Spencer on 01 845 4651 for more info on the role.

Candidates must have ELK Stack Experience

The ideal candidate would be a proactive, result oriented character with a passion for open source and an “embrace change” attitude. You will work with a broad range of technologies and libraries and make sure that all pieces fit together as a whole. You will also contribute to the documentation and help to maintain and improve its quality as well as help our support team by providing 3rd level support. Maintaining and enhancing the build and release pipeline will also be something you can work on if you’re interested and familiar with DevOps.

This role is fully remote, and will be working alongside a global tech multinational that my client has partnered with.

Salary to €100k

Ideally you already have knowledge in the following topics:

• 4+ years of web frontend development and its ecosystem
• Experience with React or other comparable frameworks
• A good sense for user experience topics
• Experience with SSO, IT-Security and related topics
• Build and release automatization ideally using GitLab CI
• Docker, Kubernetes and Helm skills are an advantage
• Knowledge about open source working methods and the related tools are an advantage (but can be taught)
