Link Personnel has been instructed by our client to hire an experienced Legal Secretary to support their Real Estate Dept. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, full-service law firm with a modern, supportive, and collaborative working environment. This is a 7 month Maternity Leave contract.

Salary : DOE

The Role:  

• Oversee incoming correspondence and client instructions, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
• Draft, review, and amend legal documents such as contracts, leases, deeds, and transfers with a high level of accuracy.
• Prepare clear and well-structured responses to objections and pre-contract enquiries.
• Transcribe and process dictations while effectively prioritising workloads to meet deadlines.
• Screen calls, record detailed notes, and maintain thorough communication logs.
• Manage the scheduling, tracking, and secure storage of title deeds in line with office procedures.
• Arrange for the swearing of documents and verify bank details with precision and confidentiality.
• Scan, organise, and maintain comprehensive bundles of title documents to support efficient case management.

The Candidate: 

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• 3-4years+ conveyancing/property experience.
• Professional manner and approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a busy team.
• Demonstrate attention to detail & excellent organisational skills.
• Maintain confidentiality internally and externally.
• Flexible attitude.
• Contribute to the business objectives and liaise with other teams within the firm where suitable.
