Our client, A leading machinery distributor in North County Dublin requires candidates for a Sales Administrator.  This is a permanent position. This role offers people who show ability to take on more responsibility. For more info, call Emma Skelton on 01 845 6302.

Salary: to €35K

Duties:

  • Process internal sales enquiries from the dealer network and advising which products best suit their requirements.
  • Up-selling where appropriate to ensure that the customer requirements are met with the best solution possible within budget.
  • Managing enquiries from consumers via phone and email and advising them in relation to best product fit, while guiding them towards their local dealer.
  • Deal with commercial customers directly via phone and email.
  • Outbound tele sales activities will be required from time to time to promote special offers or new product lines.
  • Assist Marketing Executive with social media management and other marketing support.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

 Essential Criteria

  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar internal sales role.
  • Experience with admin, order processing, tele-sales, dispatch and handling orders.
  • Ability to develop relationships with customers and sell in a consultative manner.
  • Social media experience desirable.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook & PowerPoint).
  • Confident, friendly and professional telephone manner.
