Salary: to €40k DOE

Duties:

• Manage an extensive caseload for Credit Union and banking clients.
• Work the cases in accordance with pre-set guidelines from inception to closing stages.
• Issuing proceedings in the District and Circuit Courts and processing cases to Judgment as well as all enforcement stages.
• Entering into repayment negotiation with Debtors and evaluating appropriate payment proposals.
• Daily, weekly and monthly Client operational, performance up-dates and reporting.
• Build and maintain strong Client relationships.
• Preparing Court documentation, briefs and liaising with Court Agents.
• Reviewing statements of assets and liabilities and making recommendations based on the information provided.
• Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Candidate profile

• Third level qualification relevant to the role preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Outlook
• Proficiency in practice management systems.
• Have a minimum of two years experience in the area of debt collection or insolvency litigation.
• Be well organised and have the ability to communicate on a professional level with both colleagues and clients
• Have a high level of attention to detail in reviewing documents and drafting correspondence
• Have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
• Ability to work well under pressure & learn quickly
• Proactive in developing client relationships.
