Our Client, a large construction company based in North County Dublin, has instructed Link Personnel to recruit a Graphic Designer to join their Marketing team. Duties:

  • Lead the design and production of visual assets for site branding, including hoarding graphics, safety signage, banners, and wayfinding systems.
  • Ensure all visual materials adhere to brand guidelines and communicate effectively with site staff, visitors, and the public.
  • Design engaging print materials such as brochures, leaflets, newsletters, case studies, and presentations.
  • Develop creative assets for internal communications, including posters, notices, and training materials.Create eye-catching visuals for social media platforms, including campaign graphics and infographics.
  • Design digital assets for email newsletters and online advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and schedule digital content for channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Update and maintain content on the company’s WordPress website, including news updates, case studies, and project highlights.
  • Support SEO best practices through metadata management and visually optimized content.
  • Work collaboratively to design new landing pages and microsites as needed.
  • Edit and produce short-form video content for social media, project showcases, and internal use.
  • Capture and edit footage from project milestones, site walkthroughs, time-lapses, and client testimonials.
  • Develop animated content or motion graphics using tools like Adobe After Effects or similar software.
  • Maintain a well-organized digital asset library, including templates, icons, fonts, and imagery.
  • Uphold brand consistency across all communication materials, both internal and external.
  • Liaise with print suppliers to oversee production and delivery of signage and printed collateral.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a graphic design role, either in-house or within an agency environment.
  • A strong, well-rounded portfolio showcasing creative work across both print and digital mediums, including large-format graphics.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), as well as Canva and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Solid understanding of digital design best practices for social media, email marketing, and online platforms.
  • Excellent grasp of layout design, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Video editing skills using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar is a plus.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in order to meet deadlines.
  • Very organised, proactive, and capable of working independently.
