Facilities Project Manager

Our Client, a Large Professional Services Firm based in Dublin 2 requires an experienced Facilities professional with a background in strategic decision making to take on a permanent project manager role within the organisation.

This role will work with Hard and Soft services managers to project manage projects of importance to the organisation, from desk \ space reallocation to an overhaul of the air conditioning, up to building refurbishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for all Facilities projects
  • Managing project budgets, timelines and capacity planning.
  • Management of external contractors, vendors, architects, other professionals.
  • Managing project governance.
  • Responsibility for environmental management and statutory inspections.
  • Liaising with department heads on all projects concerning them.
  • Environmental projects, including energy reduction and waste reduction.
  • Monitor and review SLAs of third party providers;
  • Auditing, compliance and communication of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS)
  • Management reporting.

Requirements:

  • You have a strong track record in facilities management in a corporate environment.
  • You are experienced in facilities related projects, with particular emphasis on office fit outs, office refurbishments, space planning and, complex office moves.
  • You are an experienced vendor manager and someone who can build effective relationships.
  • You enjoy people management.
  • You have a Facilities Management, Project Management or equivalent qualification and /or extensive experience working in a similar role in the corporate sector.
  • You are highly client focused, a polished communicator with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • You can deal with a range of competing priorities and have highly developed stakeholder management skills.
  • Very hands on, excellent administration, computer and, reporting skills.
  • An understanding of all technical aspects of property (HVAC, Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system) would be an advantage.
