Events Assistant

Our Client, a large corporate based in Dublin City, has instructed Link Personnel to recruit an Events Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will have to opportunity to develop their career within a well-established Marketing team. This is a permanent role. For more information, Call Emma Skelton on 01 845 6302.

Salary: €35-40K

Duties:

  • To help support the event programme which includes briefings, sponsorship and corporate entertainment for clients both nationally and internationally.
  • To manage all of the invitation mail outs, issued within deadlines and responses received.
  • Working alongside legal and professional staff as well as a number of key stakeholders.
  • Managing events, lists, invites and event promotion using different software.
  • Daily use of Excel for database management.
  • Managing all media-related activities for the firm’s events, such as social media, video and photography.
  • Update existing brochures and materials for events using InDesign (training will be provided).
  • Brief internal & external design agencies on event branding requirements.

Experience:

  • Previous Event management experience preferably within Professional Services.
  • Good experience with online event management systems and databases.
  • InDesign experience is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal skills.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Some weekend hours may be required from time to time.
