Our Client, a Sporting Organisation based in North County Dublin require a Financial Accountant to join their team on a 4-day week. They require a hands-on individual who will have a part-time accounting technician as a direct report. You will be a qualified accountant with 2 years+ experience working within a similar position. Salary: to €60K DOE for a 4-day week.

Duties:

• Preparation of the annual budget for multiple business areas in liaison with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Preparation of monthly accounts and provide business analysis of results.
• Review of bank reconciliation and maintenance of balance sheet accounts.
• Review and manage cash flow reporting.
• Debtors reporting and analysis.
• Manage the payroll for all employees and liaise with the pension providers on behalf of Club.
• Management of bank accounts.
• Liaise with auditors to complete end of year statutory accounts in time for annual AGM.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Identifying process improvements and financial controls.

Experience Required

• Qualified Accountant with 2 years+ experience.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proven ability to working with tight deadlines and enjoy working across a wide range of business areas.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and part of a wider team.
• Good MS Office skills
