Link Personnel have been given instruction from our client, a Leading Irish, Plumbing & Heating Supplies Company, re a vacancy for a Purchasing Administrator.  This position will offer a full 18-month purchasing systems induction training program with experienced mentors.

Salary: €30-32K

The Role: 

  • Providing admin support to assist with maintaining purchasing/supplier price files and terms.
  • Raising supplier purchase orders.
  • Ensuring systems are updated with accurate PO due dates and pricing.
  • Managing any urgent stock demands.
  • Providing stock inventory control.
  • Assisting with the ‘Return to Vendor’ process.
  • Attending monthly stock meetings with management.

The Candidate:

  • Recent BA degree ideally in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business
  • 1-2 years experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Stock Control
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Proactive & confident communicator
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Energetic & Self Motivated
  • Team Player with a can-do attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable
