Duties:

• Daily management, of the post and courier functions to ensure agreed services levels and standards are met.
• Supervision of a team of 4 more junior staff members
• Key point of contact for all departments in relation to post a couriers
• Understanding the impact of accuracy and efficiency of incoming and outgoing items.
• Able to work in a deadline driven environment.
• Adapting the role to support business needs as part of a new hybrid way of working
• Challenging the status quo and highlighting improvement opportunities in relation to automated processes and digitisation.
• Managing and updating all policy, processes and procedures for the team, communicating and organising training with your own team where required
• Reporting accurate post and courier volumes
• Ensuring proper maintenance and repair of mailroom equipment

Required Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in a postroom / courier supervisory role, preferably in a corporate environment and are highly customer service driven
• You have effective communication skills.
• You are organised with the ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
• You display a thorough working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook application
• You have the ability to learn new applications quickly
• You are dependable and flexible and have the ability to work in a busy team and shift environment (Hours vary between 8:00am to 6:00pm)
• You understand the importance of confidentiality in this role
