Part-Time Evening Receptionist (with Office Support Duties)

Core Hours: 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent

Link Personnel are hiring on behalf of our client, a Leading Law Firm in Dublin 2.  They have a vacancy for a Part-Time Evening Receptionist to join their Operations team. This role is pivotal in delivering a high standard of front-of-house service to their clients and internal teams. The successful candidate will also provide general office support and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of reception and meeting areas.

Reception coverage is provided across five rotating shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. While the core hours for this role are currently 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM, flexibility may be required. These hours may be adjusted by the firm (e.g., to 1:30 PM – 6:00 PM) as business needs evolve.

Salary:  to €38k (Pro-rated)

The Role:

Reception Duties

  • Manage incoming calls using the Zoom phone system

  • Welcome and assist corporate clients at reception

  • Coordinate booking and oversight of conference rooms

  • Ensure meeting rooms are clean, presentable, and catered as required

  • Support video conferencing and related meeting technologies

  • Manage car space allocation for clients and staff

  • Distribute emails and faxes received through central channels

  • Book taxis and other transport services as needed

  • Arrange refreshments for clients and visitors

  • Handle photocopying tasks and general administrative support

  • Assist with ad hoc duties as required


The Candidate:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a busy reception role, ideally within the hospitality, legal, accountancy, or financial services sectors

  • Proven experience dealing with corporate clients in a professional environment

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to work independently

  • Proactive, flexible, and willing to support additional hours when necessary

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word

  • Team player with the ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Professional, customer-focused approach with a can-do attitude
