Our Client, a large architectural practice based in South Dublin, requires an Assigned Certifier to manage their BCAR certification process across multiple sites. This role requires at least 3 years+ experience working as a Lead Architect on project delivery.

While the role will be based in Dublin, the company are flexible on working hours and WFH.

Salary: DOE

Duties include:

• Managing the BCAR certification process across a range of project sectors.
• Liaising with all involved in coordinating a project from Tender/Commencement to Completion stage.
• Attending Client, Design, BCAR and site meetings while reporting on same.
• Maintaining the Supporting Document list for each project.
• Strong knowledge with a wide range of building types and understanding the common issues and defects associated with these.
• Tracking open compliance issues on projects to ensure satisfactory closure.
• Liaising with the Building Control as needed.
• Reporting to the Board Directors.
• Building strong client relationships.

Candidate Profile: 

• 3 years+ experience working as a Lead Architect on project delivery.
• Good understanding of the role of the Assigned Certifier.
• Strong knowledge of all the roles identified within the BCAR BCMS system.
• A team player, with good experience on the building control process and project management.
• Be able to build relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Strong Microsoft and communication skills.
