Link Personnel are looking to recruit a Java Developer to help their client define and build their next open-source product centered around Big Data, Security and OpenSearch. This role will work in partnership with a multinational tech giant and offer excellent opportunities to learn and progress. You will work with a broad range of technologies and libraries and make sure that all pieces fit together as a whole. Candidates will contribute to the documentation and help to maintain and improve its quality as well as help our support team by providing 3rd level support. Maintaining and enhancing the build and release pipeline will also be something you can work on if you’re interested and familiar with DevOps.

This is a fully remote role.

Salary: €75-85k

Candidates should already have knowledge in the following topics:

• 4+ years of Java development and its ecosystem
• Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch or other distributed big data systems
• Experience with IT-Security and related technologies
• General understanding about distributed systems
• Build and release automatization ideally using GitLab CI
• Docker, Kubernetes and Helm skills are an advantage
