Our client, a leading medical device manufacturer, has instructed us to search for a HR Consultant for a 23 month contract. The chosen candidate will report into the Head of HR.

Duties:

  • Support with their performance management processes, rewards and culture changes etc.
  • Assist senior business managers with the implementation of people initiatives and programmes.
  • Negotiate with Unions and represent the Company at the Labour Court.
  • Keep up to date with any upcoming legislative changes and update any internal policies as needed to reflect any changes.
  • Manage any employee relations matters with line management and ensure all issues are resolved, complying with legislation.
  • Manage and process HR and business activities, such as annual pay reviews, bonus schemes, resource planning and talent management.
  • Advise the business managers on the range of HR professional areas, including employee engagement, change management etc
  • Maintain strong relationships with all of the wider HR teams.
  • Ad-hoc projects when needed

Skills \ Education:

  • BA or Masters in HR or similar, CIPD member a plus
  • 4-5years+ experience in a similar position
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous Industrial Relations experience is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills with a good attention to detail
  • Good at managing multiple admin tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
