Finance Assistant – Big Corporate

Our Client, based in Dublin City, is hiring a Finance Assistant to join their large and growing team. This role would report into the Financial Manager, assisting with the day to day running of the Finance Department, and offers an opportunity to work with a global law firm. Salary: €35k DOE

Duties:

  • Providing excellent customer service to both external and internal clients
  • Daily / Weekly and Monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • Processing of Employee Expenses
  • Account Payable processes
  • Managing volume discounts and rate cards
  • Update Funds Received Spreadsheet to reflect any new transactions.
  • Daily Disbursement Cheque Requisitions.
  • Assisting with the processing of invoices for the purchase ledger.
  • Managing incoming emails to the Finance Inbox.
  • Liaising with Partners and internal staff in relation to general finance queries
  • Covering the Finance Helpdesk
  • Other ad hoc duties that may arise from time to time

Knowledge & Experience

  • 1-2years’ previous experience working in a finance focused position.
  • Strong MS Office skills in particular excel.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good team player
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • A flexible approach to work
