Our client, based in Malahide, is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be covering a number of companies across a broad spectrum of industries. Trust, reliability and integrity are big factors in their success.

Working hours:  9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 9.00am – 4.00pm Friday.  1 Hour lunch.

The Role:

• Data entry of purchases, sales, and bank
• Reconciliation of bank, debtors, and creditors accounts
• Full accounts to trial balance
• Assist the accountant with month end/year end reporting
• Preparation of financial information to management
• Submission of VAT Returns, PAYE and RCT Returns
• Ad hoc administrative tasks required.

The Candidate: 

• Minimum of 2- 3 years prior experience in bookkeeping
• Experience in IT Systems, Microsoft Office, and Xero (preferable but not essential, training will be provided).
