Link Personnel’s client, an International Logistics Supply Chain Provider currently has a vacancy for a Logistics Account Administrator located in North County Dublin. This is an exciting role well suited to an ambitious professional looking for a new challenge and being part of a hardworking and collaborate team.  Offering offer career development and progression with many of the team members excelling in their roles and enjoying the fast-paced world of logistics and supply chain. This role will be dedicated in the delivery of the newly awarded business. As a Account Administrator, you will be responsible for all aspects of this business within the logistics team in Dublin, supporting administrative duties, stock control, and key account activities.

The Role: 

  • To act as key contact for a new piece of business.
  • To assist as required with the receipt, storage, picking, wrapping, quality checking and dispatch of all goods, which pass through the warehouse or pass through the business.
  • Communicate with customers on stock levels and management of stock.
  • Assist with the sorting/organising of incoming stock arrivals.
  • To help ensure the safe and efficient running of the warehouse in regard to the product.
  • To be involved in any task that may be required by management to improve the utilisation or service improvements of the operation.
  • Willingness to participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the business.
  • Review of weekly audits and promotion of safe working practices.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss volumes, objectives and issues as required.
  • To cooperate with training requirements and ensure refreshers are planned and followed up.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Build strong customer relations and aim to exceed expectations.

The Candidate: 

  • Strong verbal and written communication with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of the ability to meet deadlines/targets.
  • Understand planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems.
  • Experience in managing daily schedules of shipments and deliveries.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willing and able to work hours to suit business needs including weekends and overtime.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Awareness of health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to perform all warehouse duties in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Experience on DHL Easy Ship Solution.
  • End of Day Shipping Report.
  • Daily Reporting on Inventory Levels / Daily Shipping Reports / Daily Goods in Report.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of customs processes.
