Senior HR Administrator/Generalist

Our client, a leading law firm based in Dublin 2 is on the lookout for a Senior HR Administrator/Generalist.

Salary: €35k – €40k

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the HR Manager, this role has the following responsibilities:

  • HR System: Ensure that all records in the HR system are kept up-to-date & accurate; administer the HR system liaising with System provider in terms of issues. Run reports proactively (e.g. On-site) and adhoc as requested to support the business
  • HR Administration: Provide all administration support as required to HR Managers
  • General HR queries: Deal with the numerous HR queries that present each day to the best of knowledge – seek assistance as needed.
  • Trainees: Act as point of contact for all Trainee queries
  • Payroll: Ensure that payroll is administered on time each month & to a high level of accuracy. Liaise with payroll provider, pension provider & healthcare provider in relation to their inputs/outputs to payroll
  • Benefits Programmes: Administer the Firm’s benefits programmes – Taxsaver, Bike to Work, flu vaccination, pension.
  • Recruitment administration – Trainees & Interns: Provide all administration support for Trainee & Intern recruitment; manage the online application process; assist in organising & attend the Recruitment Fairs & Trainee Open Evening; deal with all applicant queries.
  • Induction: Co-ordinating induction, ensuring that the appropriate departments provide input as required
  • Liaison with Law Society: Act as main point of contact with the Law Society in relation to all queries regarding Trainees, NQs, CPD requirements, Practising Certs, and deals with all ad hoc queries that present. Maintains CPD records.
  • Training administration: Maintain all records and updates for CPD and non CPD on HR system.
  • Employee Events: Support & assist with all employee events e.g. Christmas Party, Children’s Christmas Party, staff evenings, Summer BBQ.
  • Work Experience Programme (WEP): co-ordinate the WEP programme
  • HR policies and procedures: Stay updated on the Firm’s HR policies so that can answer queries from staff & also make recommendations on improvements that can be made to same.
  • Starters/leavers process: Working with Finance, IT & facilities ensure that this process is followed
  • Other: Secretarial Cover:       Support HR Manager on planning for secretarial cover. Full responsibility for planning.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years in HR role or professional services related role.
  • HR or business qualification/CIPD qualification would be advantageous
