Purchasing Administrator – North Dublin

Our client, a leading manufacturing supplier located in North Dublin, is looking to hire a Purchasing Administrator.

Salary: to €32k

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise supplier purchase orders.
  • Administrative support maintaining purchasing/supplier price files & terms.
  • Update system with accurate PO due dates and pricing.
  • Follow up of outstanding PO’s.
  • Manage urgent stock demands.
  • Procuring and monitoring freight services to ensure they are competitive.
  • Stock inventory control.
  • Purchase order requirement forecasts.
  • ‘Return to Vendor’ process.
  • Attend monthly stock meetings with management.


  • Min 3 years’ experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Stock Control.
  • A third level qualification; preferably in Purchasing or Business.
  • Excellent user of Microsoft Office Suite and in particular Excel.
  • Willing to learn and show initiative.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Occasional national & international travel may be required.
