Communications Executive

Our client, a top tier Law Firm located in Dublin 2, is looking for a Communications Executive to join the firm on a permanent basis. The role will provide a comprehensive, customer-focused support service to the firm whilst also ensuring that all activities undertaken in this role support the firm’s brand and positioning at the top-end of the Irish legal services market.

Salary: to €40-45k

The individual is required to:

  • Keep abreast of market trends in all areas of marketing and internal communications, and make recommendations to the firm accordingly
  • Treat all internal and external contacts as customers, and ensure the highest possible level of customer service
  • Coordinating the firm’s communications calendar to include email marketing, digital and social communications, PR, collateral and advertising.
  • Liaise with external design agency / web agency
  • Identify, manage and develop required publications
  • Ensure firm’s communications are on message and within budget
  • Update Intranet with relevant and timely information on a regular basis
  • Liaise with other support departments to ensure information is kept up to date
  • Monitor communications materials of other professional services firms (domestic and international) on an ongoing basis to keep abreast of best practice
  • Ensure firm’s programme content is relevant and of value to the firm
  • Ensure effectiveness of the firm’s contributions is maximised and measurable
  • Writing and delivering internal and external communications to support key organisational changes and new company initiatives
  • Crafting content for all internal communications, leadership communications and key leadership events.
  • Supporting the development of internal communication channels, including screens, newsletters, and working with dedicated internal partners
  • Supporting key business areas that issue internal communications through the development of on brand templates and advising, reviewing and editing those communications where necessary so as to maintain the consistency of tone, style and language.
  • Developing and implementing communications plans for certain firm projects and important initiatives following briefings from partners, the leadership team and business support functions, under the guidance of the Comms Manager.
  • Support other members of the Communications team and the wider Marketing team when appropriate, for example contributing articles, blogs, banners, posters etc. for key campaigns and picking up other regular channel responsibilities when required.
  • Working with the Communications Manager in order to improve the effectiveness of internal communications through RoI analysis including staff surveys with a view to driving employee engagement through internal communications.

Experience:

  • You will have 1-2 years’ Marketing Communications experience gained in professional services or a modern B2B marketing environment.
  • You have a developed both internal and external communications expertise across all relevant communication channels and media platforms.
  • You are experienced in the application of digital communications strategy and the use of social media and online platforms.
  • You have the ability to build successful internal and external relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Third level qualification in Marketing
