HR Generalist – North Dublin – €40k

Our client is seeking a HR Generalist to join their HR team reporting to the HR Manager. This role will provide support and coaching to line managers so that excellent HR initiatives can be implemented and delivered.

This role will require you to be a quick thinker with the ability to drive processes.

OBJECTIVES
To develop cross functional relationships within the business to develop and build business knowledge and commercial awareness by working closely with managers, employees and team members.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement human resources programs by providing human resources services; including but not limited to:

  • Talent acquisition.
  • Staffing.
  • Employment processing.
  • Compensation.
  • Health and welfare benefits.
  • Training and development.
  • Records management.
  • Health and safety.
  • Succession planning.
  • Employee relations and retention.
  • Legal compliance, and labor relations.
  • Completing personnel transactions.
  • Administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action. They will improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solutions, coaching and counselingmanagers and employees.

The role will involve special projects, which will require clear thinking, planning and follow through. Candidates will be expected to manage client expectations by communicating project status and issues,resolving concerns, analyzing time and cost issues and preparing reports.

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Proven knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Diplomatic with good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work with personnel at all levels.
  • Tact and the ability to deal with difficult situations.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Advocate of career development and training within the workplace.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to support, advise, coach and influence others.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage successfully towards timelines.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the postholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the CEO/ Country Manager/HR Manager/ Accounting Manager from time to time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training.
  • To participate in the annual performance appraisal and objective setting scheme.
  • To work in accordance with all company policies including Health and Safety, Employment, Staff, Quality and Environmental.
