Link Personnel are hiring a Healthcare Recruiter – North Dublin on behalf of our Client, a leading provider of Community Healthcare services in Ireland.

The successful candidate will be an ambitious and creative recruiter with the ability to manage the full cycle recruitment processes for Dublin Homecare Services. The recruiter will be responsible for establishing the recruiting requirements by studying organisational plans and objectives, meeting with managers to discuss needs and planning for future growth.

The recruiter will develop a wide range of creative initiatives to attract new staff and be responsible for building applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites and attracting applicants by placing job advertisements.

Ultimately, the successful candidate will play an important part in building a strong brand for the Dublin operations to ensure they attract, hire and retain the best quality of staff.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Full execution of the recruitment process including phone interviewing, job interviewing, regular communication with candidates and managers including the recruitment administration
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards
  • Administers job interviewing schedules for all job vacancies
  • Develop and build an internal and external talent pool
  • Create a network of industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media and employees.
  • Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that the processes are transparent and measurable. Set continuous improvement goals.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company both internally and externally.
  • Any other reasonable duty that will enhance the overall outcome targets  set by the  recruiters line manager
  • Organise and take the lead in organising recruitment open days , information sessions and community marketing by attendance at community events to promote job vacancies
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates throughout the recruitment and compliance process
  • Among other potential recruiting and hiring measurements, collect data on cost –per-hire, time to hire, the impact of a continuous improvement process on cost savings, and the improvement of work processes in the time taken or steps involved.
  • Manage application tracking system as well as maintaining accurate and current application data base
  • Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition
  • Give presentations to various potential groups that could potentially be the work force of the future where potential employees.
  • Staying current on the company’s organisational requirements, recruitment policy and Irish law regarding employment practices
