Our Client in North Dublin is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant – Analysis and Reporting for a permanent role. Reporting to the Associate Director, Finance, this role will be responsible for providing strategic and operational financial information to support Corporate Tax calculations and partnering with external advisors to ensure Direct and Indirect Tax compliance for Irish companies.  Salary for this role is to €55-60k.

Main responsibilities will include :

• Manage information
• Data analysis to support actual, projection and budget calculations as required by Corporate Tax.
• Provide analysis and commentaries on variances vs latest projection or budget.
• Ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing rules and Customs valuations.
• Data analysis to support government statistical returns.

• Manage finance/compile financial reports
• Work with company tax advisors, to ensure timely and accurate calculation and submission of direct and indirect tax returns.
• Provide data analysis and documents to support all internal and external audit requirements.

• Team work 
• Engage and develop the financial analyst reporting into this function.
• Partnering with local operational business functions on a range of areas including Transfer Pricing, Revenue queries, Customs, Sales Projections and ad hoc projects.
• Working effectively with the global tax team.
• Partnering with Headquarters on change management and related projects.

Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are required for this position as well as good time management, multi tasking and organisational skills. Other key requirements include a strong logical approach to complex tasks, and strong stakeholder management skills.

The successful candidate will hold a professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.  5 years post qualification is desirable with a proven track record in industry or practice.  The candidate should also be proficient with advanced Excel, and experience with SAP or other ERP systems will be a strong advantage.
