Facilities Manager – North Dublin

Our Client, a Large Pharma company based in North Dublin, requires a Facilities Manager. The role is a Permanent Contract and would suit someone with 3 years’+ experience as a Facilities or Soft Services Manager. This role will be a fixed term contract of 8 months, with a view to permanency.

Salary: to €55k

Your main tasks will include:


  • Maintain soft services to the highest standards for our client at all times in line with contractual metrics.
  • Manage cross functional team of employees
  • Manage independent contractors including janitorial and maintenance staff, Cafeteria workers, and Security personnel, Pest control and Landscaping
  • Source service providers and vendors when required
  • Manage soft services budget
  • Assist in the sourcing and hiring of new employees as required
  • Project Management of in scope and out of scope soft services
  • Produce on time and accurate monthly performance reports

Premises Management

  • Cost effective management of site buildings and grounds
  • Manage Soft Services help desk and ensure all calls and requests are closed out in a timely manner


  • Ensure all soft services activities are completed in compliance with site procedures, Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality


  • Always adhere to all country and site safety protocols
  • Ensure safe work practices at all times, risk assess work tasks when required to diminish unsafe situations
  • Liaise with site safety officers and ask for advice when required
  • Always ensure colleagues and own safety at all times.

Required Experience

  • Knowledge of Financial systems and controls
  • Competent trouble shooting skills
  • Ability to work under limited supervision
  • Provide support to peers & leadership for your team
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Organisational skills essential
  • IT Literate

Required Qualifications

  • Technical / Business qualification to Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ people and project management experience

Required Experience

  • Proven track record in similar role
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical environment an advantage
  • Experience in a regulated environment
