Our Client, a large law firm based in Dublin City, requires a Bid Manager to join their Bids and wider Business Development team.

Salary: Neg

The role reports directly to the Director of Business Development & Strategy, and will involve directing more junior members of staff.  

Duties: 

  • Identifying and tracking opportunities to pitch
  • Advice on pitch strategy, including determining bid \ no bid decisions.
  • Document production including developing key messages and writing content
  • Engaging with a range of senior staff in relation to bid strategy
  • Considering varying pricing models and when to use them
  • Contributing to new projects, systems, software and processes to make pitching and tendering more efficient and effective.
  • Pitch Championing :
  • Conducting post tender feedback meetings
  • Track, analyse and report on outcomes of pitches.
  • Use the above to better inform bid \ no bid decisions as well as overall strategy

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Experience in a Legal \ Professional Services Environment a big PLUS.
  • Project management and organisation skills
  • Ability to establish credibility, effectively engage with and influence diverse teams of senior individuals
  • Demonstrable experience of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong Presentation skills
