Link Personnel are now looking for a (part) qualified ACCA Accountant

Our Client is a small accountancy firm in North Co. Dublin. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accountant for a permanent role. The ideal candidate should be (part) ACCA/ACA qualified and has 2-3 years experience working in a similar environment. This role would suit someone who has worked in a small but busy accountancy practice and has experience in preparation of audit files.

Salary: depends on experience but can go to €50k

Location: Swords/Malahide area, parking available

Key duties:

• Planning, performance and completion of accounts assignments for a portfolio of clients in a timely manner.
• Preparation of audit files to Partner review stage including management reports and statutory financial statements.
• Managing and reviewing the work of other staff.
• Mentoring and instructing other staff.
• Liaising with clients to discuss and resolve issues as they arise.
• Client management to ensure customer needs and expectations are met.
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns for partner review.
• Working on ad-hoc assignments in conjunction with the firm’s partners.

The person:

• A qualified or part qualified accountant with 2+ years audit practice experience.
• Good statutory audit/accounts experience – small company auditing experience is essential.
• Strong technical, interpersonal and client relationship skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Good knowledge and working experience of personal and corporate tax matters.
• Display reliability, commitment, effort, motivation and initiative.
