Link Personnel Services are now Recruiting A Homecare Manager!

Our client, a leading helathcare provider located in County Dublin are currently looking for a Homecare Manager.

Salary: to €50k + Benefits (e.g. 25 days hols)

Main Accountabilities

  • Manage Homecare co-ordinators and Clinical Nurse Advisors.
  • Ensure all Homecare KPI’s are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all complaints and incidents are effectively managed and learning embedded to prevent recurrence. To ensure the closure of complaints, deviations, CAPAs and change controls.
  • Produce and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  • Ensure all Compliance issues are escalated to quality.
  • Budgetary management, ensure all orders/invoices are raised correctly and within budget.
  • Liaise with pharmacists and manufacturing & operations teams to ensure that all customer Homecare/pharmaceutical queries are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • To work closely with warehouse and the production unit to ensure that patient’s requirements regarding the supply of their medication are met.
  • Manage all feed and ancillary deliveries in relation to Home Parenteral Nutrition.
  • Manage all liaisons with Hospitals and HCP’s (Health Care Professionals) in relation to the discharge of EN and PN home patients.
  • Ensure all patients are registered on relevant patient management systems.
  • Manage and coordinate patient training requirements with the Nursing team.
  • Liaise with HSE and manage all funding including PO numbers for home enteral and parenteral patients.
  • Liaise with manufacturing sites in relation to the stability of home parenteral regimens.
  • Liaise with Senior HSE staff re the future development of Homecare services.

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Customer care experience, ideally in the healthcare arena
  • Evidence of communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • PC skills and specifically good working knowledge of Excel and SAP. Demonstrable numeric skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Demonstrable achievement of role accountabilities.
  • People Management.
  • Project management qualification desirable.
  • Clinical background eg Nurse, Dietitian, Pharmacy Technician a distinct advantage.
